The buffalo was so important to the Indians because they gave them food to survive and weapons to hunt and many other tools and the hide was used for Shelter and clothes which the Indians needed to stay warm and they could trade buffalo hide for European goods such as clothes, food and tools and many more. The buffalo bones helps them create farming tools so they can use it to farm and grab extra goods.
