The impact of this colonisation on Maori is huge... Dame Judith Binney wrote a book that looked at the ongoing effect of colonisation on Maori.. it doesn't make for good reading. I'd like to suggest that you look for some of the (many) negative effects of British colonisation.... keep up the good work.
