Social Studies Term 3 || Week 3 ||

Living in the Industrial Revolution

Diseases spread really quickly since their place was very unhygienic
Example: Toilet waste used to get dumped on the street

Children always were underfeed they gave them pills to help them forget and they didn't go to school.

Their were lots of children that were working they are mostly orphans
They get promised food and a place to sleep
but kids who don't work they get called "Street Rats"

Push Factors
People were taught that ideals were strict discipline, hard work, being moral, keeping a stiff upper lip, knowing right from wrong

Why Do the british want to leave England?

The British want to leave England because it is filthy

The children always are hungry and are given pills to forget about their starvation. Children from 8 and up can be hired into factories to help with money and also if their are helpless children who are homeless and need a place to sleep and eat they get a job at the factory and get a place to sleep. But if they choose not to work they are labelled as “Street Rats”. Diseases can also spread really quickly because of its filth

For example toilet waste gets dumped onto the streets where everyone can see it and Kids are also given pills to forget about their starvation and families have to share a room imagine how difficult it would be.

The british want to leave England because it is fear of natural disasters and poverty
